  • Meals: Meals served will be pure vegetarian Breakfast and Dinner at all booked hotels (Starting with Dinner on day 01 and ending with Breakfast on Day 06) all meals will be on a fixed menu basis (MAP Basis). (No Meals in Kedarnath) food in hotel restaurants are pre booked as schedule. we are not able to make any changes in pre booked hotels retaurants due to traffic jam , any lanslide and any emergencies.

Trek Itinerary

Day 1 - Haridwar to Sersi

  • Travel : 220 kms / 7-8 hrs
  • Pickup Time : 5 Am (Haridwar Railway station) You can also join us from Rishikesh.
  • Depart from Haridwar to Sersi by road.
  • Enjoy the scenic journey through the Himalayan foothills.
  • Stop for meals and refreshments along the way.
  • Arrive in Sersi by late afternoon or early evening.
  • Check into your accommodation in Sersi.
  • Relax and acclimatize to the altitude.
  • Overnight stay in Sersi.

Day 2 - Sersi to Kedarnath (via Gaurikund)

  • Trek : 16 kms / 6-7 hrs
  • Wake up early and have breakfast at your accommodation.
  • Depart from Sersi to Gaurikund by road.
  • From Gaurikund, begin the trek to Kedarnath, which is about 16 km.
  • You can choose to trek or hire a pony/palki/doli.
  • En route, visit Bhairavnath Temple and stop for lunch.
  • Arrive at Kedarnath and attend the evening Aarti at Kedarnath Temple.
  • After Darshan and Aarti, spend the night in Kedarnath.

Day 3 - Kedarnath to Sersi

  • Trek : 16kms /. 6-7 hrs
  • Wake up early for the morning Darshan at Kedarnath Temple.
  • After Darshan, begin the trek back to Gaurikund.
  • From Gaurikund, drive back to Sersi.
  • Reach Sersi by late afternoon or early evening.
  • Spend the evening relaxing and reflecting on your pilgrimage.
  • Overnight stay in Sersi.

Day 4 - Sersi to Badrinath

  • Travel : 213 kms / 7-8 hrs
  • Depart from Sersi to Badrinath by road.
  • Explore Mana Village and other nearby attractions.
  • Visit Badrinath Temple and take part in the evening Aarti.
  • Check into your accommodation in Badrinath.
  • Overnight stay in Badrinath.

Day 5 - Badrinath to Rudraprayag

  • After breakfast, drive from Badrinath to Rudraprayag.
  • Visit the confluence of Alaknanda and Mandakini rivers.
  • Explore the town and its surroundings.
  • Check into your accommodation in Rudraprayag.
  • Overnight stay in Rudraprayag.

Day 6 - Rudraprayag to Haridwar

  • Travel: 156 kms / 6-7 hrs
  • Depart from Rudraprayag to Haridwar by road.

Best Time to Visit Badrinath Kedarnath

Travelers planning to Do Dham Yatra we advised you to avoid the monsoon season, which typically lasts from mid-June to August, as the frequent landslides during this time make it challenging for pilgrims to travel safely. The months of July, August, and early September are particularly affected by monsoon rains, resulting in occasional showers and a significant drop in temperature, reaching as low as 12°C.

During the winter months, the Kedarnath temple is inaccessible due to the extreme cold and heavy snowfall, which blocks the roads. The deity of Lord Shiva is moved to the Omkareshwar temple in Ukhimath from November to April. The Kedarnath temple reopens in May for devotees to embark on their pilgrimage.
