1. Online Registration:
Website: Visit the official website: https://registrationandtouristcare.uk.gov.in. Use a desktop browser for the best experience.
Mobile App: Download the Tourist Care Uttarakhand app, available on Android and iOS platforms.
2. WhatsApp Registration:
Send "Yatra" to +91-8394833833.
Follow the instructions to receive a confirmation message.
3. Offline Registration:
Visit designated Chardham Registration Centers located throughout Uttarakhand (list provided below).
For Indian Citizens:
A valid government-issued photo ID: Aadhaar card, voter ID, or passport.
Permits for Kedarnath and Gangotri (available through the state government or authorized travel agencies).
For Foreign Nationals:
A valid permit from the Uttarakhand Tourism Development Board or Ministry of Home Affairs.

Go to https://registrationandtouristcare.uk.gov.in or use the Tourist Care Uttarakhand mobile app.
2. Fill in the Registration Form:
Enter details like name, address, contact number, Aadhaar number, and other requested information.
Select your preferred Chardham dates and locations.
3. Upload Documents:
Submit scanned copies of valid photo ID and other required permits.
4. Receive Confirmation:
Upon successful registration, you will receive a confirmation slip or card. Keep it safe, as it is mandatory for entry at all Chardham locations.

Travelers planning to Do Dham Yatra we advised you to avoid the monsoon season, which typically lasts from mid-June to August, as the frequent landslides during this time make it challenging for pilgrims to travel safely. The months of July, August, and early September are particularly affected by monsoon rains, resulting in occasional showers and a significant drop in temperature, reaching as low as 12°C.
During the winter months, the Kedarnath temple is inaccessible due to the extreme cold and heavy snowfall, which blocks the roads. The deity of Lord Shiva is moved to the Omkareshwar temple in Ukhimath from November to April. The Kedarnath temple reopens in May for devotees to embark on their pilgrimage. Where as During the winter season, the gates of Badrinath Dham are shut and the idol of Lord Badrivishal is transferred to Nar Singh Temple in Joshimath.
The best time to undertake the yatra is typically from May to October when the weather is favorable and the temples are accessible. However, it's advisable to avoid the monsoon season (July to September) due to the risk of landslides and heavy rainfall.
Most yatra packages include meals such as breakfast, lunch, and dinner. However, it's essential to check the specific details of the package to confirm the meal inclusions.
